Google Nexus 7 - Buy in India

Don't get hurry it's better to wait for another month or two and get it cheaper!

The 8GB Google Nexus 7 officially costs USD 199/- (approx Rs. 11,000 ) and 16GB costs USD 249/- (approx Rs. 13,750) in US. Pre-order listing at Grabmore is a 8GB model. The good part though about this listing is that Rs. 16499 is all inclusive which includes shipping, handling, taxes as well as customs charges.
Given that Nexus 7 has a quad core Tegra processor, 1GB ram and comes loaded with Google’s latest Jelly Bean version on Android – it still looks quite attractive compared to other tablets on offer in Indian market currently.
Before you hit the order button though, you have to keep couple of things in mind. This is a pre-order listing and expected delivery time is about 4 to 5 weeks. Even in the US, Nexus 7 is currently not available and expected to start shipping from mid July. The expected delivery date on Grabmore is from 13th August to 18th August.
So, if you are one of those gadget freaks who want to get your hands first on the latest and the best, go for it. Others could probably wait for another month or two and get it cheaper!

Google Nexus 7 Tablet  - Buy in India

The Google Nexus 7 is manufactured by ASUS and it is the first 7-inch tablet that comes with Quad-core processor (1.3 GHz Tegra 3) . The 1.3 GHz Tegra 3 means fast performance and a responsive screen. It runs on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, which again, is being touted as the first on any tablet. With so much buzz around, and great features to back it up, the Google Nexus 7 seems to be a tab worth laying your hands on.

Design & Display
The design of Google Nexus is similar to the most 7-inch tablet available in the market. However, when it comes to look and feel, the back of the tab seems leathery and rubbery that makes the grip and handling convenient and safe. It further boasts of scratch resistant Corning Glass. The tab measures 10.45 mm thick, which is just a milimeter thinner than the Kindle Fire. The Google Nexus 7 is not only thinner when compared to the Kindle Fire but it is also light by approx. 70 gm.

The tab has also come up with a better display moving ahead from other tablets of the same range. It comes with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Other physical features include Power/Lock button, Volume Rocker, Headphone Jack, Microphone Pin Hole and Micro USB Port.

Multimedia
With a better resolution screen and a fast performing Quad-core processor, the Google Nexus promises excellent entertainment experience. Watching videos or listening to your favourite music, the Google Nexus delivers a high performance. The speakers integrated in the back deliver good quality sound and viewing angles are top-notch. It supports MP3, WMA and MPEG-4.

The Google Nexus 7 has 1.2 MP camera that can be used of video calling or taking pictures if you like to use it that way.

Battery & Storage
Powered by Li-ion 4325 mAh capacity battery, the Google Nexus 7 is believed to give you up to 9 hrs of battery life while playing HD video. When used causally, the battery will probably last much longer.

The Google Nexus 7 comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory. Those looking for more storage capacity, this may be a drawback, as the device does not come with any external memory option. However, they have the option of buying 16GB device by paying a little more than the regular Google Nexus 8GB tab.

Connectivity & Features
The Google Nexus 7 has quite a few options when it comes to transfer of data or connectivity. It has Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth and a micro USB for charging as well as data connectivity. Sadly, there is no HDMI port. The tab also has accelerometer, gyroscope and GPS.

It goes without saying that there lot that one find at Google Play store. So much so, the current OS makes it possible to purchase movies or watch TV shows.

    Installing pyspark with Jupyter

Installing pyspark with Jupyter Check List Python is a wonderful programming language for data analytics. Normally, I prefer to write python codes inside   Jupyter Notebook  (previous known as  IPython ), because it allows us to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations and explanatory text.  Apache Spark  is a fast and general engine for large-scale data processing.  PySpark  is the Python API for Spark. So it’s a good start point to write PySpark codes inside jupyter if you are interested in data science: IPYTHON_OPTS="notebook" pyspark --master spark://localhost:7077 --executor-memory 7g Install Jupyter If you are a pythoner, I highly recommend installing  Anaconda . Anaconda conveniently installs Python, the Jupyter Notebook, and other commonly used packages for scientific computing and data science. Go to  https://www.continuum.io/downloads , find the ins...
